AB is a writer on interior design based in Central London. Her brief was for an open-structured country barn or similar, with the potential to work from home, in a quiet Cotswold location. On the first viewing day we showed AB the property she now owns. Joanna Wade Property Search was set up in 2009 to address a clear need. Having worked for a local branch of Humberts it was obvious to Jo that although the seller’s interests are protected by the estate agent, there is no such protection for the buyer. Any advice from the agent is bound to be partial – they are after all being paid by the vendor. It is only right that the buyer be represented too, and therefore benefit from our expertise and local contacts built up over a number of years.

The company is based near the small market town of Malmesbury in Wiltshire, towards the southern end of the Cotswolds.
