CD lives and owns a successful business in Thailand, returning to the UK every year during the hunting season. His brief was for a very well appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property in the Cotswolds to be locked up & left for most of the year. On our first viewing day which was arranged to coincide with a business trip to the UK we showed him four suitable properties, the second of which we are in the midst of negotiating on.   • The advantage of using a house finding service today is clear. Apart from their ability to save you huge amounts of time and effort by keeping in regular contact with all the local estate agents and finding properties as they come to the market, there are now a number of properties available to buy but which are not being openly marketed.
  • With a thorough knowledge of the local area and regular contact with the agencies a good property finder should be able to show you these unseen properties. Without a search agent, uncovering this hidden market is almost impossible.
  • We are a completely independent company; an increasingly rare thing these days and are in no way linked with any particular agency. This means we are entirely free to search the whole of the market and are not obliged to approach certain agents first, and are able to act only for the buyer being under no pressure to ‘push’ properties from any particular agent.
  • This independence means we can negotiate very effectively on your behalf. There is no conflict of interests – we act only for you, the buyer, and as a third party can be more robust in our negotiations.
  • We are small, and limit client numbers to no more than four at any one time. This exclusivity means there will be no competing briefs – we will not act for different people with the same brief as this compromises the service we provide.
  • Our small size means we are able to be completely discreet; there is no sharing of information and we act in absolute confidence.
  • We have no lower house price limit. Many property finders won’t look for properties below a certain figure – we don’t suffer from that and will work with any budget.
